Hi I have a Margaret Morgan who married Thomas Davies (occupation hairdresser) in 1829
,According to the 1841 census both born in Neath ,both aged 30 . However ,the 1851 and 61
shows Margaret, then a widow, to be slightly older . This makes it more difficult to find
her birth as there are a few possibilities . It looks like Thomas was born in 1811 to a
John and Catherine .Any help is appreciated .Thank sBuddug Hollett
Hi Buddug
You know the ages are rounded down to the nearest 5 years in the 1841
census? That means that Margaret would have been betwen 30 and 34 (and
that would apply to Thomas too unless you have other proof of his parents)
