Hi Jean
If you can give me the names and years of birth of her children I should be able to find
this out for you, and explain how use of the GRO search facility can enable you to find it
for yourself.
Best wishes
Jeff

Subject: [GLA] Mary White
I am trying to get confirmation of the maiden name of my husband's great grandmother,
Mrs. Mary White, possibly Mary Anne/Jane Wills of South Morgan Street, Cardiff.
I do have a copy of a South Wales Echo newspaper clipping with photo, to celebrate her
101st birthday. It states she was the oldest citizen in Cardiff.
She was born in Plymouth according to the newspaper and she came to Cardiff in her teens.
Her husband was James White. At her death in 1937 she left three daughters, two sons, 38
grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Can anyone help with her family line?
Thanks.
Always,
Jean
