Hello List
I have come accross a placename that has been typed down on a New York,
Passenger List as "blaengumpi". 5 children are down as coming from the place
and being born there. The person above these children is possibly their
father widowed, born in Morriston and coming from Abergyfi.
The children were all born in the Neath registration district. Does anyone
have any clues as to where "blaengumpi" could be in the Neath area?
Regards
Gareth
