The question was whether the National Library has copies of the same
stuff available at the local record offices. The answer is no - they don't.
They do all have copies of the general national sources (eg census) but
you can find them online anyway. If you're looking pre-1800 the wills at
the NLW are very useful, but again they're available online (indexes and
digitised versions).
Parish registers are at the various archives, with Bishops Transcripts
available online (though they're not always identical).
I'd endorse Gareth's suggestion of archives.wales - search for the
places you're interested in as well as the people, as not everybody's
name will appear in a catalogue, then plan your visit accordingly. If
your family were tenant farmers there may be records of the estates they
rented from.
Note that the Aberkenfig Resource Centre doesn't have original records -
it's run by volunteers from the Glamorgan FHS, who do have good local
knowledge and access to various indexes and databases produced by the
Society.

Can't help with your question but just to warn you that most British
archives close one day a week so make you have checked all their websites to
make sure you do not arrive on the day they are closed.
You often need some proof of identity, there is a CARN (County Archive
Research Network) card issued by archives that once issued can be used
anywhere.
I have not been down in any Welsh archives for some time but last time Powys
had a licence system where for a small payment you could photograph
documents.
