This is a repeat of a query I raised on the list 5 years ago.
I am interested in this family shown in the 1881 census:
Gwyn Street, Cilypebill, Pontardawe
David JONES Head M Male 58 Cilypebill, Glamorgan, Black Smith
Gwen JONES Wife M Female 50 Cilypebill, Glamorgan, Black Smith
Wife
Gwen JONES Daur U Female 14 Cilypebill, Glamorgan, Scholar
Annie JONES Daur U Female 12 Cilypebill, Glamorgan, Scholar
David J. JONES Son U Male 8 Cilypebill, Glamorgan, Scholar
Some years after children Annie and David went to live in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. At the time of the 1911 census Annie was back in the same
house in Gwyn Street, living with her mother, Gwenllian. Gwenllian died in
1925 and Annie in the early 1930s.
Does anyone know of this family or their descendants and can tell me
anything of their history?
David
