Hello all,
The new arrangement is already on line.
I have ancestors from Montgomeryshire and have seen the index entry
and also the typed information from the Parish register. This includes
baptisms, burials and marriages. It is wonderful.
I had searched the LDS films and the entries confirmed what I had plus
more that I did not have already.
Regards,
Lyn Brown in Griffith.

It seems that there is some co-operation here between FamilySearch
and FindMyPast. According to the blog the records will be filmed by
FamilySearch (with permission of the Church in Wales), then digitized
and finally transcribed by FMP. I was hoping that the digitized
images would be available on FMP, but they still may be because
genealogyblog states: "searchable indexes and images of the parish
registers of Wales," including images! Early days, no doubt. Cross
fingers. Unfortuantely, I can't find anything on FamilySearch or FMP
web sites to confirm any of this but I do consider that it is in the
pipeline. Another blog has much the same information:

By the way, does anyone have any clues why when singly copying and
pasting an url it comes out on the list twice?
