I think the fur could be sold to fur dealers and I remember during my apprenticeship I
used mole skin to wipe soldered joints.

Subject: [GLA] Thank you !
My "thanks" to all the Listers and Lookup Exchangers who have assisted in
he past year. I now know more about my Welsh heritage than I ever thought
would. It goes all the way back to a ggg-gf born in 1771 and includes
hree distant cousins I never knew about before. It's been an exciting year
nd well worth the chase
ast question of 2010 - In the 1792 Parish Records for my ggg-gf's first
arriage, he is listed as a "mole catcher" and by the 1841 Wales Census he
s listed as a "butcher". Besides catching moles, what else would he do with
hem that would provide income to support a family ????? Interesting
ccupational combination - mole catcher to butcher !
hope you all had a Merry Christmas/Happy Holiday and I hope you all have
safe and sane New Year celebration followed by a healthy and happy 2011.
