I don't have a ref list of potteries but have information that there were
2 potteries near Bridgend,at Ewenny. One of them claims to be the oldest in
Wales, and I believe there is still a pottery at Ewenny.Their goods went as
far as Maesteg, but I see no references to a pottery in Neath. William
Billingsley went from Nantgarw to Swansea (1814) and were backed by the
owner of Cambrian Pottery at Swansea where they stayed for about three
years before returning to Nantgarw.I have no info on what happened to
Swansea pottery after1817.

Thanks Gaynor,
The Cambrian Pottery may be the one I'm looking for. Joseph Casper
ROMBACH ran the Cambrian Inn in Neath. Maybe only a coincidence but
quite a clue to follow up! Im pretty sure the pottery I'm looking for
was not near Neath.
