Another question for you. I should know this I'm sure, but where
would I go to actually look these records? The actual parish?
(I would LOVE a trip to Wales, but might be a few years until
I can get over there!) Are there folks on this list who might have
access to these records in the meantime?

Hartwicke's Marriage Act of 1754 said that everyone except Jews and
Quakers
had to be married in the Established Church of England. So if you
are
looking
for a marriage of a couple who seem to be Presbtyerian, you need to
look
at
the Church of England Records - BT's in the USA and PR's in
the UK.
BT's are
Bishops Transcripts; PR's are parish registers. Mormons have
not been
able
to film the PR's because of religion.
