Hi Huw,
I sent you the following message a few days ago. I just wanted to let
you know that I believe I've located Walter HOWELL today in the 1881
census. Decided to do a special trip to a library with the 1881 index
as I had some from other counties to lookup as well.
I located him in Coyty Lower, Bridgend at the address of Cottage
Homes with his brother (Frederick). I think his father T(h)omas may
have died by then.
I hope you haven't started the lookup yet or been put to any inconvenience.
p.s Does anyone know who to contact for details of people killed on
the railways in the 1880's in Glamorgan.
Regards
Michelle

Hello Huw,
I wonder if you would be able to do a lookup for me in the 1881
census for T(h)omas HOWELL and his son Walter please. Walter was
born in 1873 so would have been about 8 years old at the time of the
census. If you cannot locate Walter and T(h)omas together, it may be
that Walter was already in a childrens home in Bridgend by then.
Tia
Michelle
