i cannot unfortunately assign the looked for places also.
But with place names in South Germany (Bavaria, etc.) a suffix "- bke" or
ke" would be very unusual. Place names with such ending actually point on
the north Germans area (Prussia).
Salbke, city Magdeburg, Saxonia-Anhalt
Sobke, village Honig, Kr. Ostrowo, Posen
Soebke, village Herzebrock-Clarholz, Kr. Gueterloh, Nordrhein-Westfalen
In my extensive data base of bohemian places I do not find "Kahlau".
Similarly sounding places are however in Thuringia, Silesia and the Lusatia.
With kind of some manufacturing business is connected the family? Possibly
this helps, because there is traditional regional emphasis here.
Kahla/Thuringia: Porcelain; Down Lusatia: Glass.
Desires still another glad Christmas .

Betreff: [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] Sülbke or Sülbke Bavaria Village Location?
Hello List Members:
I'm hot on the trail of the DANHOF/DANNHOFF/DANHOFF family trail. We have
found the birthplace of this family unit at a city/village of Sübke or
in Bavaria. Could someone tell me where this village is located? So far, we
have not been able to locate this village, after many months of research.
The other village associated with this family in Kahlau in Bohemia and would
like to know where this village may be located. I suspect it was either
located NW of Prague or it could have been SW of Pilsen.
This family unit was strongly associated with the manufacturing business.
Danke und Mit Freundlichen Grussen,
