Hello to all of German-Bohemian heritage:
I am looking for the birthplace of the Prokosch family that emigrated to =
New Ulm, MN area in 1866 time frame.
I am looking for the location of the following villages or counties on =
todays maps or the historical maps of the period:
Horsovky Tyn (formerly Bishopteinitz)
Furth im Wald
If you can help with any of these, it would be helpful. You need not =
know where all of them are, unless, of course, you do. If you know of =
any websites where a good! map of the period or of today, I would also =
be interested in checking that out. I have looked at a few,but not =
enough detail, or not legible enough generally speaking.
Thank you for your help.
