I am looking for anyone researching these names around the Landskron area of Bohemia or in
Moravia near Lussdorf or Bomisch Liebau. Some of the info I have is confusing but I have
info on the following people which I am trying to sort out:
Johann Patzl and wife Anna, with children Johann and Anna. This is from a letter written
about 1882 that talks of having left their their home in Landskron, Bohemia and moved to
Bomisch Libau in Moravia, with Anna's mother. I think Anna's maiden name is
Klinger, and that her husband is Franz Klinger.
Franz Klinger, and if I have this correctly, Anna, are the children of Anton Klinger.
There mother's name was never revealed.
Franz was born 15 February 1833 in Bohemia, and his wife Anni Popp I have two different
dates for. From information here I have her birthdate as 6 June 1842, but her passp0rt
says May 1844. In either case, I have the place of birth as Niederjohnsdorf. Franz and
Anna seem to have also moved to Moravia first, specifically to Lussdorf, Hohenstadt,
Olmutz, Moravia, as indicated on his passport. I am unsure why his had place as Moravia,
and hers as Bohemia, and have not been able to make sense of the date discrepincies. Anna
Popp's parents are indicated as Wenzel Popp and Veronica Neugebauer on her death
record. Franz and Anna's passports are dated May 1867, and they emigrated to
Watertown, Wisconsin. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. I have addtional
connections to Popp's in this area of Bohemia, but haven'f found a connection with
Anna's family. Thanks.
