Eww I agree I dont want to spend most of a year working on 1 possiable CC. I
taught myself minium html and enough Frontpage to get by and then learned
more as I went so if one wants to know one will learn. While I was working I
taught a few boys/men to operate heavy equipment and the first thing I asked
before I wasted my time was "Do you want to know how?" if they were not
overwhlemingly sure I did not start any training.

The goal is to make sure we don't have the situation I faced. One CC I
appointed promised and promised and promised to learn, but he never did. I
spent more than nine months working with him until I finally gave up and
withdrew the appointment. I hated to do that, but he was making absolutely
no progress.
How about this:
New coordinators are expected to produce and manage web pages within three
months after being appointed.
That doesn't mean they have to be "proficient," just get started.
