I would make the following additional suggestions:
Brief History of the County
Connect to "About GenWeb"
County Table?
When I first took over my first county page, I had a surname page but I
found the maintenance too time consuming. Email addresses are always
changing. And searching through the queries and the site itself can be
effected by use of search machines where one can search by surname.

Subject: [BY-LAWS] Site requirements, updated list
Current list of suggestions:
~ National logo (*required by national)
~ State logo
~ Queries (*required by national)
~ Pointer to state page (*required by national)
~ Basic resources info (*required by national)
~ Updated and links checked regularly
~ Surname list
~ Links to neighboring counties
~ Link to County mailing list
~ Link to County Archives
~ Link to USGW
Some of these easily could be accomplished with one item. For example, the
National logo could be linked to the front page of the USGW. The State logo
could be linked to the state page. I do think we'd need to be specific on
the
links to neighboring counties though, based on previous history with that
item.
Any other suggestions to add? Comments on these? Rewording/reorganizing of
this
list? I'd like to see responses by Friday, Feb. 18.
Thanks,
Jacki
