Questions:
2) Shall we throw this open on GAGEN, or encourage message board response?
Can we do both? It's nice to be able to look at the comments on the message
board... but it'd also be good to see some discussion on GAGEN, as that
might get more people involved.

Policies and Procedures
1) Appointment of Coordinators
County and Special Project Coordinators shall be appointed by the State
Coordinator (SC). The position of Coordinator shall be granted to
candidates who have a belief in the GAGenWeb purpose statement; a
willingness to maintain and improve a county or special project website;
agreement to abide by the GAGenWeb Bylaws and Policies and Procedures; and
a sincere desire to assist researchers.
Knowledge of building and maintaining web pages is not a prerequisite; if
needed, new coordinators may receive assistance in learning the process
from members of the GAGenWeb Support Team. New coordinators will be
expected to become proficient in handling web pages within three months
after being appointed.
2) Removal of Coordinators
~~ to be discussed ~~
3) Regional Assistant Responsibilities
~~ to be completed -- Virginia's post to GAGEN is good, but can we
simplify
it any for the P&P? ~~
~~ probably should include procedure to elect such since the EC won't
handle this level of an election ~~
4) Other GAGenWeb Support Team
~~ how detailed do we need to get here? ~~

Questions:
1) Is section 1 sufficient as is, or do we need to modify it?
2) Shall we throw this open on GAGEN, or encourage message board response?
3) Anyone willing to give this one a shot?
4) Ditto.
5) Anything else?
Thanks,
Jacki
