Questions:
Would a Grievence Committee Chair be elected, or appointed by the SC?
I WOULD SAY THE POSITION IS APPOINTED BY THE SC, OR MAY BE THE ASC, SEEMS LIKE A GOOD JOB
FOR THE ASC
How many people would be needed on the committee for each situation? Would
the chairperson have a vote, or just oversee the proceedings?
I GO WITH BARBARA THAT THE CHAIR WOULD BE USED ONLY AS A TIE BREAKER, 6 MEMBERS WOULD BE
GOOD, BUT FOUR MIGHT BE EASIER TO RAISE.
Would the chairperson call for volunteers at the time a grievence is filed?
Or would he/she prepare a list of willing volunteers at the beginning of
his/her term, and then select a committee from that list when the need
arises?
AT WORK WE HAVE A LIST OF PEOPLE THAT AGREE TO REVIEW VARIOUS THINGS ACROSS OUR PORTION OF
THE COUNTRY. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU WILL BE CALLED ON, YOU HAVE ONLY VOLUNTEERED TO HELP
SHOULD THE NEED EVER ARISE.
