No, I would NOT subscribe to this additional list. I see no need for
'another' email list.
Even tho my ISP now has junk mail and virus protection, I am still having to
go to my ISP mail box on the web to delete scores of unwanted mail before I
download mail to my computer with my email software. Because of so much junk
and virus mail, I no longer allow email to just flow directly to my computer
with the email software [also with anti-virus protection] so my 'in' box
isn't flooded with mail. If I'm not interested in following the
conversation of a topic on GAGEN-L, then I delete them along with junk mail
before downloading. No big deal....
Warm regards to All,

Subject: [GAGEN] CC mailing list
It's been suggested that we create an additional Georgia mailing
list for
CCs (which would not be a required one), where matters could be discussed
at more length than on the "required" present mailing list that all of you
are subbed to.
(It would still be JUST for CCs....)
I know many of you have had experiences with other states and how they
handle this, and would like to hear some of your observations and
comments.
Would having another list be helpful to you?
Would you be apt to subscribe to it voluntarily?
What sort of things would be kept to the "main required" list?
We won't draw this out, but I would be very interested in hearing your
comments, and if you'd prefer writing to me privately, that's fine too.
I've always considered communication among CCs to be so important, so I
want to be sure we're doing what would help you all the most.

Genealogy research usually begins with our great-grandparents to preserve
the privacy of 'living persons'. If you encounter a person searching
their birth parents, the need to go to the area on the web that deals
with just this type of research. Please refer them to:
