We've all had problems with viruses and worms in the past. However, just
as information, I have a suggestion that will help those using Outlook
(which is particularly vulnerable):
To avoid propagating a computer virus within your personal contacts
folder in Outlook, you can create a new contact and give it a bogus name
such as 0000. When a virus tries to use your address book to send itself
out, this will be the first name that it tries to use; if the contact
doesn't have an address, a message will appear saying that the mail
could not be sent because one of the destinations doesn't have a
legitimate address. By doing this, you can avoid contaminating your
friends, you'll find out that you have a virus, and you can eliminate
it.
