Hi Denise
I would be willing to take Decatur or Seminole as I have roots in that part of the State
ie.. Miller, Early Clay counties and I am sure in these two counties also. Would that help
you to keep the others?? I would hate to see you give up all your hard work.

Subject: [GAGEN] My Sites are Up for Adoption
Hi Everyone
I really don't like the idea of giving up my sites, however, there is no way
that I can maintain them any longer. I have had Decatur County now for
almost 4 years, and the Unknown Queries for about 2 1/2, plus I just
recently took on Seminole County. I have been very fortunate in these
years to have had some great help with the sites as well as some really good
researchers assistance. Due to computer problems and wishing to get back
to my own research, which I have almost abondanded in the last year, I must
give these sites up.
The Decatur County site has some really good researchers in the county that
will send information all the time. Alot of the county records have
already been transcribers, as well as bible, cemetery, civil war, and census
records all ready accomplished. We were really luckily to in the fact
that The Bainbridge PostSearch Light (the local newspaper), gave the site
permission to post online all obits that have ever appeared in there paper,
and this permission goes with the site. While Seminole being a fairly new
county to being with is relatively low on data available. Both of these
counties are now just waiting on someone to step forward and take them over.
All data currently located on all 3 sites, stay with the county and need not
be removed.
The GAGenWeb Unknown Queries have been a treat to do. They to are ready to
take over, and I am now writing up the instructions on the format they are
in as well as, how they are set up now. There is currently a problem with
the mail merge format that is used, and I will before I completely hand it
over, get this straightened out for the new Coordinator.
If you are interested in any of these sites, for the Unknown Queries please
contact Tim Stowell at tstowell(a)chattanooga.net and for either the Decatur
or Seminole County sites, please contact the regional cooridnator these
Jimmy Eppy at eppy(a)ticnet.com.
For all of you that helped me make the Decatur County site what it is today,
Thank You so much for all the efforts and hard work that you contributed
toward that goal.
