Several folks who have hotmail addresses are bouncing. Some hotmail
addressees are getting their mail ok. I don't know the rhyme or reason on
this, so if you have hotmail and are getting this please let me know. Then
I can write the remainder to tell them of a possible fix.
Here's what Hotmail offers for a possible fix:
<J> if the person is subbed in list mode where the list mail is sent out TO
the list address--the subscriber should add the list address to the Mailing
List option for Hotmail
<J> so if they are subbed in L mode to GAGEN-L they should add
GAGEN-L(a)rootsweb.com to the Mailing List option setting
<me> and digest?
<J> if they are subbed in Digest mode where the digests come from the
D-request address then they are told to add GAGEN-D-request(a)rootsweb.com
for example to the Safe List
<J> that is the address that the mail is coming FROM
<J> but it wouldn't hurt to add GAGEN-D(a)rootsweb.com to the Mailing List
option setting too
If that doesn't work they need to complain to Hotmail tech support.
The same is happening for MSN customers. Interesting that legit mail you
want is a pain to get yet every spammer can get their message through to
you without a problem.
