Not sure I can help with this but I will try .... and I do
understand your frustrations with all of these emails - so I would propose /
offer up a couple of suggestions .... that if we could do a couple of things
to make it easier
1) If you are submitting a Request for Change to the Guidelines put that in
the subject heading -
2) If you are giving a Response to a particular Item - Change the Subject
Line to read "Response to ________ Guidelines"
3) If we could lighten the load here it would be helpful - perhaps if we
responded back to the person asking a generic question in particular ONE
THAT IS NOT "associated with the guidelines" -
If we looked at it as if it is not one that most everyone would be
interested in reading, then it would be helpful to RESPOND BACK TO THAT
PERSON.
4) Since Donna pointed out you need to be subbed to this list as a CC - You
can sub in Digest Mode and it will only email you when the digest reaches a
certain limit and it is self-contained.
Just a couple of things that might help ALL OF US until we get through this
"busy" guidelines review time.
Thanks for listening and I am not sending this to offend anyone, so let's
give everyone the opportunity to voice their thoughts, if we can organize it
a little better perhaps it won't be as difficult to sort through.
I also will state one more time that these "proposed guidelines" are for all
of us "RC's" included - this is about making our project excel; our sites
will only be as good as we make them, so guidelines or no guidelines - THE
BEST is what we should all aim for and I have a way to go yet to get there,
but I am working it.
Thanks,
Brenda Pierce
PS ... I really am not YELLING when I used all caps above - since this is
plain text messaging I can't use bold or underline so I resorted to CAPS.
Hmm not sure if my smiley face will work here either :)

Of course it is part of the guidelines that you have to be subscribed if you
are a CC.
