Donna,
That chart you have created is AWESOME, it is able to show very well exactly
ALL that has been done for the good for the visitors of the GAGenWeb
Project, and how dedicated we all are as a team to providing the absolute
best we can.
However, I don't know why you have the NO GA SEAL in bold letters, however,
just let me say that this is not a requirement that is placed on websites by
GAGenWeb but BY THE STATE LAWS OF GA. It's apart of the GA State
Legislation and on the books, that NO ONE may use the GA State Seal without
written permission, and that NO ONE will be given permission to use it on a
web site.
QUERY PAGES - I only know of a handful of counties that are still updating
Queries Manually. Almost all sites now use the GenConnect Boards that
updates automatically and a CC if using this then the monthly update is no
longer needed. So by you doing this research, we now know that we need to
update this part of it, letting new CC's coming on board that they have the
option of using GenConnect and the benefits of such.
Again, Thank You for doing this research, as it is able to show everyone how
much GAGenWeb has gone beyond the requirements placed on the Counties by
USGenWeb. And thus proving to all that GAGenWeb is dedicated to exceeding
the expectations, and is willing to go beyond the call, so that our visitors
have the greatest change of locating maybe that one piece of information
that is their BrickWall.
Have a good night.

Subject: [GAGEN] Greatly Expanded Guidelines
I didn't really realize how much material was being inserted
into
guidelines
that really should be by-laws until I spent some time doing a
guideline
comparison chart
http://www.rootsweb.com/~gaforsyt/guidelines.html
I was doing all right until I tried to plug in the proposed changes.
All these rules we have been living by must be somewhere if we have to
change
them. Could someone give me the link I'm missing?
