Hi,
As one of your elected County Coordinator Representatives to the Advisory
Board of The USGenWeb Project, I wanted to let you know about two items that
are currently being discussed by the board. Please email me and let me know
your feelings about these items. As your representative on the AB, when I
vote I need input from the County Coordinators so I know that I am
representing your opinions.
1) - The Mediation Process
See this guideline of the USGenWeb Project concerning mediation. A
committe has been formed to determine whether changes or
additions should be made to this process or if it should be abandoned.
Please let me know what you think!

2) - Eligibility of Assistant State Coordinators to run for elected
positions of State Coordinator Representative to the Advisory Board.
This question came up during the recent election and will be addressed by
the Advisory Board in the near future. Please send me your thoughts on
this!
See this link for the bylaws concerning eligibility for positions as stated
now.

In addition, you might want to read Board-L archives for September 2003 to
view comments by Ellen Pack of the Election Committee on this subject. These
comments are in a post made on Sept 22, 2003 by Isaiah Harrison with the
Subject Line "Discussion Item - ASC Eligibility".
Thanks for any input!
