Now is a great time to be having this discussion so that when it is time to
start getting ready for the election for the "real" CC-Rep, that person will
have a better idea of the detail to be included in the bi-monthly summary.
For the additional detail added to the summary, if the information is available
elsewhere (and more up-to-date), why would having it included in the summary
(which is only done a couple of times a month) be of value?
Take the counties up-for-adoption -- The Georgia Counties Selection List at:
http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Egagenweb/table.htm
is available all the time, and if it's kept up-to-date it would be the very best
place to see which counties are up-for-adoption, under-construction,
adoption-pending, established-site, or new-site AND have the links to the sites
available at the same time.
For the roll call statistics, there never was a single list that explained all
the details other than a .gif file that Tim made and sent a link for which had a
map of the counties with the color-coding to indicate the roll-call status of
each county. I thought that Tim might be posting his .gif link to the GAGen list
and didn't think I should include it in the summary.
Keep up the suggestions, because it would be best to get a detailed list of what
information would be useful in the summary to be of benefit and yet not cross
the line of being just a summary. Would opening up the Council list in Read-Only
mode be of better value?

Re: Georgia Council Discussion Summary
I appreciate the effort to let the CCs know what the Council has discussed.
But a little more detail would be nice. (eg; what were the Roll Call
statistics? Which counties are up for adoption, and were any plans of
action made to fill the positions?).
