In the illustrious words of Elvis (insert best Elvis impersonation here-->
Thank you, thank you very much!
I am currently working on one of our newspapers, I bought the microfilm
reel. I also will be starting on the Georgia death index. I am going to
pull out the Glynn county deaths, and maybe the surrounding counties. I am
on a time schedule with this, so I can not index the whole set, sorry. It
is on microfiche and will be donated to our library after I am finished.
The health department was selling the death index for about $50 but stopped
because the copies were getting bad. I was told the state archives still
sells them, but haven't checked into it.
Thanks for thinking of me Linda and I will be looking forward to the Glynn
info.
On another line, I requested an index of the state archives holdings on
Glynn County microfilm, and unfortunately they sent me the wrong county.
I have an index for Gilmer County holdings at the state archives if our
Gilmer County Coordinator is interested, I can mail it out to them. I
haven't checked the list to see who that CC is, but if you are watching,
give me a buzz.

Amy,
Richard didn't share the compliment you received on your website with us
all
but I am so glad to hear you are getting feedback from
visitors....makes
it
all worthwhile! I haven't talked to you in awhile but I take a
look at
Glynn occasionally and can tell you got the hang of FP and took off with
it.
Congrats!!!
I am transcribing several newspapers that have some Glynn county
information
in them that I will be forwarding to you as soon as I finish them. I
have
to switch between papers to keep boredom from setting in!
