I am forwarding this message from the National Coordinator of The USGenWeb Project. It
is regarding a proposed amendment to the USGenWeb Bylaws by MNGenWeb. In order to be
placed on the ballot during next years election for the membership to vote on it, there
must be other state co-sponsors of the Amendment. (Can’t remember how many are required
and that information is not included in NC’s email).
There is no need to discuss the merits of the amendment as the only question now is
whether or not the membership of GAGenWeb is interested in co-sponsoring the amendment.
This subject has been up for discussion project wide before. If any of you are
interested in our co-sponsoring the amendment, let me know and we’ll set up a vote by the
membership regarding that.
Thank you,
Linda Blum-Barton
