Connie,
I see you too are up late or getting up early. I've been on the go since
530 AM Saturday, seeking sinus headache relief that working at my computer
actually eased. I've been given numerous health tips today on how to get
rid of it when it comes again.
The tips will be mostly software - things folks can do for their machines
without cracking the case. These would include maintenance of software,
general items about the computer, email and so forth. I've found it
interesting that folks who may have lots of computer smarts say in
programming may not know the simple things that those who work deeper in
the machine think of as elementary.
I've been asked about cost - and my reply to such is - pass the tips on to
someone else or help someone else in need - and you've paid me very well.
9 years experience repairing, working with and trying to keep running 450
computers - one does learn a few things. My goal is to make it as clear as
possible without a bunch of technical jargon so that a person my father's
age, or someone who barely knows anything much about their computer, can
understand what to do.
Of course I'll welcome questions, but do want to stay on topic and not run
off in every direction which of course can quickly happen.
As I get feedback I'll know more which direction to take after the first 5
or 6 lessons I've already done or planned.
The first post is planned for later today - after a few hours rest, church
and perhaps a nap.

Tim,
Will the tips be PC hardware (like how to do Windows Critical Updates, or an
occasional defrag), or software tips (like html coding, html software, and
email
tips)? Or perhaps a combination of both hardware and software?
There is so much to learn about a PC that having occasional tips might be
a good
idea.
