There is no reason to require that a CC be in the GAGenWeb project
for one year before he/she is eligible to run for SC.
David, I think the thought here is that it would be beneficial for the SC to
have some experience within the GAGenWeb Project... some time to become
familiar with any issues that are specific to our State project. Do you
have a suggestion for an alternate residency requirement? Or do you feel
that there should be no residency requirement at all -- that a person would
be eligible to run for SC immediately upon becoming a member of GAGenWeb?
