It seems that the main issue that Tim brought up is getting lost....
Tim urged us to write to our Representatives on the AB, but in order to do
this with sound judgment, we need to understand more about the domain and
Tim's reason for not responding to the AB about it as well as his reason
for not giving the domain to the National Project.
I asked him to address this --- and I'm sure he will as soon as he is
able. Since he was once NC, I think he understands more about this than
the average person and can help us with his thinking on the matter.
Linda Barton as our representative has frequently communicated on GAGen-L,
so I feel that everyone has had the opportunity to express their views on
any subject with her.
I have also heard from CCs who told me that she did help them out when they
called on her about GAGenWeb matters. I've never seen any indication that
Linda is anything but fair and honest.
I see no reason at all for Richard's note.
Each person - can express "their" opinion on the topics at hand - that's
why I stated - earlier on 4/21 - "The rules are lifted for the present
time with the exception of 'no profanity'."
"Their" means just that - each person's own personal opinion - not
someone else's. If folks won't post for themselves here - do not forward
mail from others to this list.
You don't have to agree with the person's opinion, you don't even have to
like them - but I do ask that you allow each to speak his/her mind about
their concerns in this and other current matters.
