You probably have already found a free site for your personal page, but in case you are
still looking, Genealogy Village at
http://www.genealogyvillage.com/ is the one that host
my personal genealogy web site as well as several of my county web sites. They can also
help you if you have your own domain name. I use them for the Polk County Cemetery
Preservation Committee web site at
www.pccpc.org

Hi Virginia,
You might want to try Google Sites. It's not FTP, but you can access
Sites from any computer and they are free. I've been using them for
Crawford County, GA
https://sites.google.com/site/crawfordgagenweb/
I also have personal and business sites with Google. There is a
slight learning curve -- figuring out how to add or change data and
Google is frequently updating to make the sites better and (they
think) easier to use. Overall I think they are the best free option available.
Rel@ively,
Patrice
