We all put copyright on our pages because it says to in these guidelines.

I have been told over and over on this and other lists that what the work I
have done does not have a valid copyright because it has facts in it. There is
a little more to the law than that.
However, I have been convinced that the only way to protect my work is not to
share it or post it anywhere and every time one of these discussions break
out on a list, we lose submitters.
