Retired for the 2nd and last time. Last summer we bought a boat and were
going to see the east coast. My brother called and said overnight he
realized we couldn't leave mama alone ever again. So Greg and I are working
with a sitter so she is never alone. Plus she has been at this home since
1953 when she, my dad and I moved there. My brother was born the next year.
She doesn't want to go to a home.
So my husband is on a boat in FL and I am in Columbus taking care of mama.
She is 93 and has dementia. I am using my time to try to put my research
together in notebooks instead of scattered all over the office. Condense it
to one day put it on the boat. Nothing coming through my websites or GA
email lists.
When I was a regional, I checked sites and was in contact with the CC's.
They knew then I'd do what I could to help. Time nor energy is on my side
at this point, but I would love knowing the State Coordinator has some help
also.

Thanks, Linda. Regional Coordinators are so important with maintaining
personal contact with the County Coordinators. I enjoyed that work for
years, and if I had more energy, I would certainly support do it again! Age
is catching up with me!!

Hi,
I sent emails out last Friday to all of you individually by region
regarding the election of Regional Coordinators. If you have not seen the
email, please check your emails and respond ASAP. We have had very little
response.
Also, I have meant to let you know that Trish Elliott-Kashima has agreed to
serve as ASC again.
Thank you,
Linda B.
