Glad to know that we have some experienced people at the helm. Have worked with both
Vivian & Linda in the past and enjoyed our work relationship.
Ed has been such a great leader, hate to see him go, but know that he needs some rest from
the day to day duties of being SC. Hope his recover from the wrist surgery is going well.
Will start checking all my web sites next week and make sure that they are all up-to-date
with the new SC & Asst. SC info. Will also check the links to the GAGenWeb Archives.
BUT this weekend will be having an Estate Sale and hope to sell all our
"Estates". (Couldn't get anyone to come to our Yard Sale, so we announced
an Estate Sale and have the lined up to get in.)
A Big Huge THANKS to all of our past and future leaders at GAGenWeb. Your willingness to
serve is appreciated.

PS: What e-mail addy does Linda want us to use on our web site for her? I believe that
she has more than one.

I would like to introduce some folks.
Linda Blum Barton will be our Assistant State Coordinator for the
upcoming term.
Sylvia Caldwell Rankin and Linda Woodward Geiger will remain our
technical experts, managing the state site along with help from Ed
Gordon. If you see changes that need to be made in the *state* site,
please let me know.
If you need technical help with your county sites, post a message to
the list. We have helpful, knowledgeable folks in our project.
WE ALL NEED TO TAKE A MINUTE OR TWO TO UPDATE LINKS ON OUR SITES.

As you probably are aware, the USGenWeb Archives moved off of the
RootsWeb server several months ago. Following is the new location:
http://usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm
Here you will find the links that go directly to the individual counties.
In addition, many of our county sites also moved away from RootsWeb.
Therefore, you will need to check your neighboring counties to see if
they have new urls.
Please make these changes as quickly as possible, so our researchers
will continue to have a positive experience with our Web sites.
Thanks!
Vivian
