Kemis,
If you haven't tried it yet, take a look at Google Sites. You just
need either a Google Account or Gmail -- both are free. While it
isn't an HTML program, once you work with it a while, you'll find you
can do almost anything and you can do it from anywhere. The neatest
part is that you can set it to automatically update your menu.
Sites does use templates but there are many and they are easily
modified. You can also go in and edit the HTML if necessary, but
only on individual pages. I was giving a live demo at a genealogy
society and was surprised to find that I could copy the picture and
text that was on their old home page and simply insert it into
Sites. They were most impressed also.
It may not be the best solution for 1,000 page sites, but hundreds of
pages should work without any problem.
And of course, it automatically includes a Google Search engine for
the site. <grin> There are still things that I haven't tried, but
I've just started using the "File Cabinet." That allows others that
have your permission to upload data or pictures. You can then move
the info to the right place on your site. The more I learn, the more
impressed I become.
Give it a try.

For several years, I've used 40tude to do my web pages and loved

I'm not happy with using FrontPage. So does anyone have a suggestion for a
cheap to free HTML?
