Hello List
My name is Darilee Bednar and I am a CC for two counties.
The idea of the virtual tour was to create positive
communitcation between USGW siteowners by allowing CC's and SC's a
chance to present their pages in a non-competitive fashion. No award
is given. Volunteers come on a first-come bases...and so do the
people that 'GET Volunteered'. No one who has volunteered has been
turned down.
I post to 3 regional lists, -ALL, and a couple of state lists. I
had no intention of ever posting to SE-List outside of announcing the
Tour.
I clearly mark it as Virtual Tour and it should always be sent
from this mailing address. I know of no way to omit just one person
from the list. You probably can do it yourself as many e-mail
programs will allow you to screen mail.
Is the tour working? You bet...
Tour 31 was for Lumpkin Georgia...and is super because CAT
included recipes, along with really good resources.. I know of
another CC who hearing about CAT's Southern recipes went out and found
some Norwegian recipes.
The Alaska State tour ended up recruiting two new CC's
