We've had 4 answers to the post about the Book Pages for Georgia....every
one of them with a little different view....so I'd like to have some more
people join in to think through this with me.
Here's some summaries of possibilities....and we welcome more!!
1) County page List
This we all AGREE is the most important thing. These are maintained by the
CCs and some have look-up people.
I've seen tables, lists.....does anyone have any other methods to share with
us for ideas?
But how about the books that deal with Georgia as a whole, i.e. Georgia
Bible Records.
2) Books We Own
Pros: They already have this set-up and also by counties.
All listed have look-up people. They are on Rootsweb.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~bwo/georgia.html
Cons: Not a part of the GAGenWeb
Doesn't include lots of Counties (simply because no one has
submitted them)
Usually only ONE book listed per county.
3)GAGenWeb page
Pros: Would be part of the project officially
Suggestion: That it include the information from ALL the counties (or at
least links), so that a person could do some "one stop" reviewing of titles
available.
Cons: Needs someone to volunteer to maintain the page and also create it!
I realize this is probably not a HIGH priority, but it I am interested in
hearing some more of your comments about this....
