Thought I'd give another little nudge in case someone is "thinking about"
volunteering to be the Regional Coordinator for East Central Region.
We need you! If you like to teach and help others learn what you've
learned, then that is exactly the kind of person we're looking for. Most
of this is behind the scenes. You work on an individual basis with the CCs
within your region, helping them whenever they need something.
I'm sure you can all remember the first time you started your County Web
page and all the questions that you had. If it was after the Regional
Coordinator system was in place, you should have had plenty of support. If
it was early on, then you definitely probably remember how much alone you
felt. Either way, I know there are lots of CCs within GAGenWeb who have
alot to offer.
Being RC gives you a great opportunity to learn more about researching your
own ancestors as you begin to work with those counties within the region.
I hope I'll hear from some of you.....don't be afraid to just inquire if
you'd like to learn more about it...
