Hi
I have two problems going on. One involves an old Greene County webpage
that is driving me nuts and the other is MSN, my new ISP.
Ok the first problem:
I have been trying to access the utilities page for Greene County on
Geo-Cities to remove it. I had never worked with Geo-Cities before and
since April of 1999 been trying to slowly remove the old page. Well I tried
and tried and then they changed their sign on page. I have the old password
for the page which use to be the only thing I needed to get in, but now that
Yahoo has it they want me to have the date of birth that was registered with
them. Well Key's address is no longer good so I can't get the info I need
to access the page and pull it! It has my old address on it, which I will
have totally shut down on July 1st! Any ideas how I can access this page to
kill it?
the old address is
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/4833/ and the
new address is
http://www.rootsweb.com/~gagreene/greene.htm .
The second problem is:
I changed ISP's in late February from schmidtm(a)3-cities.com to the address
that MSN said was DigMyPast(a)email.msn.com Well they recommend dropping the
email and using DigMyPast(a)msn.com . You guessed it, I have a mess. Half my
accounts are under the email one half under the non-email one and some I am
subscribed more than once under. Since I already changed all my pages to
the
email.msn.com and mail can get to me from there, but has a tendency to
bounce, would you suggest I change everything over to the suggested address?
You talk about a hassle, as I am subscribed to close to 40 lists! I
realized I had a problem with my address when mail I submitted to my own
lists started bouncing back to me as administrator!
Ok, any volunteers for ideas?
