I received this email from Cyndi Howell of Cyndi's List asking us to check
our links from her site to make sure they are current. She includes
directions for you to update your own link if it needs to be changed. The
attachment she references can't be included here but if you are interested
in having it, please let me know and I'll forward to you.

Dear USGenWeb Coordinators -
I have been proud to have numerous links to the USGenWeb project, at the
state, county & archives levels, since the beginning of the project in 1996.
In the early days it was easy for me to keep up with the list and check the
links regularly to be sure they were correct. These days that job can be
quite overwhelming. So, I hope you don't mind if I ask a couple of favors
from all of you.
1. Would you please correspond with your county coordinators and ask them
to check the USGenWeb links on Cyndi's List for their county site? If the
link is outdated, please ask them to report it to me via the "Update a Link"
tab on the left side of the page. The US category is here:
http://www.cyndislist.com/us/ Look for the state, then "Counties" then
your county, and then "General Resources."
2. Would you please ask each of the county coordinators to also consider
supplying a reciprocal link back to the corresponding Cyndi's List state
and/or county page? I have attached a spreadsheet with a tab for each U.S.
state and the addresses for all state and county pages on Cyndi's List.
3. If you don't already, would you please also consider adding a link to
the Cyndi's List state page for your corresponding USGenWeb state page?
Thank you so much for your help,
Cyndi
