Pat,
I see nothing wrong with you listing your Real Estate web site. I had to go
back for a second look to find it. I don't usually read the "about me" part
of a web site. I just want to get to the research part quick and skip over
a lot of things to get to the "obits", "newspaper",
"cemeteries", etc. In
this case I was missing out on some important info such as your Post Card
Collection.
If a lot of "people" start complaing, then I would remove it, but I doubt
that true researchers will object. (Just my opinion)

Subject: [GAGEN] Opinion about About Me Section
I link from my real estate newsletter to my Gwinnett County GAGenWeb,
but
never have
mentioned on my Gwinnett Co GAGenWeb site that I am a real estate agent.
I just tweaked my brief "About Me" section on the main page of the
Gwinnett site, and I
would like to get opinions on this wording. I don't want to cross the
line, but I
wouldn't mind a little cross promotion.
??? Is this OK, since it clearly is not the main purpose of the site?
