Thank you for that fine message. As a Mississippi Voter who was
slandered on the list for my vote, (they did not know how I voted) I
thank you for the even handed approach. I defend my right to fly the
flag of my choice and thank you for giving me the choice on the pages.
For now, I choose not to add the flag, however I may later. If I do so,
I hope to do it in a way that will not offend thinking folks. There are
always some that are looking for something to be "offended by". I hope
to keep the pages as clear of this as possible.

Dear Georgia Coordinators and other volunteers,
One of the few requirements of being a coordinator for GAGenWeb is
that one must belong to a list where information concerning the project
can be sent, where ideas can be shared, questions asked and answered.
That is the main purpose of this list. At present it is unmoderated, as
for the most part folks have moderated themselves.
However in the last week or so a couple of non-related posts have brought
out the least kind remarks I've seen on this list. We all have our ideas
and prejudices regarding all sorts of issues. If they have nothing to
do with GAGenWeb or the other purposes of this list, please refrain from
posting such to this public list.
Regarding the flag issue - I've been asked about displaying the flag on
the county sites. While I personally don't fly any flag on any of my
Georgia
sites - you are free to fly whichever Georgia flag you so choose - as
they
are your sites to decide the design and content of.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this, please do not hesitate
to write me - tstowell(a)chattanooga.net
