I just found this site as well.
A woman wrote to me from Paris France.
She is actually from Fresno, CA. but was surfing
and located the site and saw a place called
Berrien, in Heard County, GA. It is only on one
of the maps. None of the others has it. She has
an ancestor with the name Berrien and believes that
they are named after that town/community. She was
trying to find it, or what it would be today.
It's a great site for that little extra information.
