I also received some from supposebly a Catholic Church
in Portland, Maine that I had contacted some six
months ago. The message had an attachment and
requested I take a look at some information they were
forwarding (about a great grandfather). I am always
cautious about what I open even if it "seems" to come
from someone that I know. So before opening my virus
scanner advised of a virus....the same day I received
two from this Michael Laseter. Seems these folks would
have something better to do with their lives. How do
they interscept such as my letter to a Catholic Church
some six months ago? Don't quite understand the
workings of email once it leaves my pc and goes out to
the person that I sent it to. Are others able to view
it along the pathway while the message is enroute? The
other messages were clearly from this Michael but the
one was addressed as if it came from this Catholic
Church where I had sent an request for genealogy info.

I too have received these message from Michael

a nice email saying that I do not open attachments
from people I don't know
and asked him to please quit sending me files, only
to receive that many
more. Finally, I put a block on his incoming mail
and it goes directly to
my delete box. Thank goodness I listened to my
conscious and didn't open
any.
