140 would be fabulous.
"There are 159 counties in the State of Georgia."
That is the paragraph you had to read from the Constitution of Georgia to be
able to register to vote when I first came to GA. (no longer the law).
I could place all the counties in NW Ga that were made from the original
Cherokee County. I also could place all those that make up the Atlanta Metro
Region - not Genwebs but the States.
The rest would be spotty.
I could find Glynn and Brantley (Did you know the city of Nahunta in 1999 had
approximately the same number of water connections as my subdivision water
system? They have a very nice Dairy Queen too.)
I started my husband's family search in Upson County because of the family
stories about the Thomas brothers that turned out to be the Riviere brothers
(One of those family stories that jumped sides - grandma's cousins not
grandpa's).
Before it was over last night, everybody dropped by on their way back from
whereever except the one that lives out of town and the one still out of
town, but phones calls from both.
Now to a frantic week of closing the books for the company before we can have
a Happy New Year.
