If you go to your utilities page for your list you will find an option to
Prepend your list. Tick that option and you will get your [list name] on
the Subject line. You might have to drill down to prepend, but it is there.
I find my settings sometimes "readjust" themselves to a default setting.

Subject: [GAGEN] How to make the post show a subject line,
Hi Folks,
One of my list member's has asked me a question, How do I get the subject
line to say what list it is. I will post her statement below,
Didn't we have something like [GA-Frankl] in the
subject line previously? I've noticed on several of the lists that after
the problems with the server (?) at Rootsweb ( earlier this month) that
the
name of the list does not appear in the subject line anymore. When
we get
lots of emails each day, it is "comforting" to know that the message is
coming from one of the Lists rather than just from John Doe who may be
sending a virus. Sorry my message was not very clear. I just now looked
thru some messages I've printed, and I see that some never had the list
name
in the subject line. Maybe Franklin Co. never did, and if so, just
ignore
me. I don't mean to cause you problems. I really appreciate the work you
folks do to maintain the lists.
