Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I have finally decided to move into the 20th century with the message
boards. yes I know that I said 20th. How do I link the message board I
manage to the mailing list I manage?
Thank you for your help

Screven, Burke, and I think Glynn
Deborah,
In your list tools, simply turn on the gateway by highlighting the box, add gc-gateway(a)rootsweb.com to your accept list and send an e-mail to messageboards(a)rootsweb.com, tell them you are admin of both list and board and ask them to turn on the gateway. That ought to hook you up.

I think we in GAGenWeb could make some valuable contributions to this
committee and the forming of Grievance Procedures.
So I would urge that some of you volunteer for this with Shari Handley.
"Shari Handley" <srh(a)tyaskin.com>
This would be a short time project -- not a very long commitment.
Please consider this seriously.

Hello, all,
We are fast approaching our election for state coordinator. In preparation
there are a few things we need to take care of.
Please check to see if your name and address are correct on the mailing
list. You can find the list of subscribers here:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~gagenweb/addresses.htm
Please respond to me privately.
Thanks,
Vivian
I received all three. Two from Vivian and one from Virginia.
There is probably a time delay due to somebody's protection program.
I have run into that several different places lately. I was emailing myself a
link so that I would have saved on the other ISP. There was quite a time
delay.

And on behalf of the committee, thanks for all of the kind words!
Your input is very important to us -- keep it coming. Hopefully we can be
thru with this process soon.

I have been having trouble the last couple of days posting to our state
mailing list -- GAGen-L. If you see this post, please let me know...
privately, please, so we don't clutter mail boxes.
Thanks,
Vivian
That's great Sylvia.
