Are these creatures you speak of much like the styles that Front Page uses?

Hi Brenda!
I will be willing to take Clayton County. I already have the Clayton message board among others. I currently have Habersham County.

Clayton County, Ga is up for adoption - if anyone is interested, please let
me know.
I want to thank Linda and Bettie for stepping up to take on another county
in the Metro Region and I WELCOME Carolyn - Thanks to all of you.
I also want to say Thanks to Lisa Little - who back in 1997 took on 3
counties and has lovingly cared for them since that time. Lisa is going to
focus on family at this time, but I extend a welcome back to her at anytime
to help with any that I have open or with any that I have that she wants to
help with.
Also, thanks to all of you that do such a wonderful job with your counties -
Brenda

Thanks Connie. I'm trying, at least as much as is possible, to code the
site so it will be compatible with IE 4 and Netscape 4. It takes some
extra coding and even then, Netscape 4 does not display everything the
way I want. I'm using Cascading Style Sheets. Netscape does not
recognize much of the CSS formatting, so I must include the Netscape
formatting in the html text of the page.

Don,
It looks fantastic so far. I've got IE6 and the buttons came out really
nice on it.

It's a work in progress, but I've been working on redesigning the Morgan
County site using Server Side Includes. RootsWeb servers do handle SSI.
If you like, you can take a look at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~gamorgan/test/ but remember, I only just
started and about all I have working is the header. I've added a footer,
but haven't formatted it as of yet.

Forgot to mention one other thing.
Be cautious putting "last update" and counters in your include pages. You
just may get unexpected results!

Sorry I just knew it was there (didn't use it) as I was looking to see if the
Forsyth information was linked so that I could notify that it had been moved.
We didn't have plantations in Forsyth County although we had one man that
owned 100 slaves and several of the old houses had slave cabins. They have
all been bulldozed now for development.
