I subscribe to the Madison Co List and will put up anything that comes
through it. There was an obit that came through that was Madison, GA so if
the person who has that county will let me know, I will try to find it for
them.
Most of the Madison Co folks send their material straight to me.
Thanks for all you are doing.

Subject: [GAARCHIVE] Messages to County Lists
One of the best ways of making contact with individuals who might
have
data
to submit to the Archives, is through the County Lists. I try to
subscribe
to all those counties for which I maintain the TOC for. (Now that
I'm
doing so many, of course, I don't be able to, but I do plan to work on
getting some people who will forward the information)
Would you let me know if you are a member of the County List that you are
doing, and IF you are willing to forward the list that Ken (who is doing
all the work of combining and sorting the daily upload report besides
keeping the upload page!) to your County List. You can either just send
the whole thing or just the portion dealing with that county. (Each List
has its own volume and you probably know what would work best!)
ALSO, I know that most of us are either on the TXARCHIVES list or the
main ARCHIVES -L list. For that reason I didn't plan to forward to the
GAArchives list those generic announcements, i.e. the recent one about
elections. IF there is anyone who is not on a list where they would
already receive things like this let me know privately. I will be happy
to
forward it to you privately. I just know all of us get tons of e-mail
,
and
anything I can do to cut down on it....I want to do so.
Thanks...
