Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Somebody has to go and do it.
TEXTPAD-L (and TEXTPAD-D) is up and running now.
As stated in the welcome messages of the list.
This list is exclusively for the users of TEXTPAD software
and is valuable when formatting in exact layouts before depositing
in any archives. The list is not affiliated exclusively with
the USGenWeb/WorldGenWeb Projects. Any user who wants to help others
or seeking assistance are welcome. Discussions are welcome.
Please be WARNED, this list is set to reply TO the list,
unlike the standard reply to sender. This is designed to
help everybody who uses TEXTPAD!
The software is at http://www.textpad.com/
to subscribe - click and send:
mailto:textpad-l-request@rootsweb.com?subject=subscribe
digest:
mailto:textpad-d-request@rootsweb.com?subject=subscribe
So please circulate to the volunteers who have the TEXTPAD and could
help or could use help - or want to try out TEXTPAD.

Linda,
Thank you for keeping me posted on Campbell County Cemeteries.
This must be a time consuming project for you and I really want to thank you
for your efforts. Now, I have another request!! I belong to Tucker Masonic
Lodge and am a Past Master of that Lodge. The Past Masters of Tucker Lodge
are looking for a grave-site of a Mason that is in need of cleaning, weed
pulling, loving care, etc. Do you know of a Mason's grave in or around
DeKalb County that is run down over grown and in need of care? If so we
would so much appreciate your letting me know in order that we may make this
a project. Once again thank you for taking your time to help maintain the
memory of those to whom we owe so much
Sincerely,
Ben W. Kelley
